Laughter can challenge stereotypes, spark important conversations, and bring people together. Through comedy inspired by my lived experience as a disabled social worker and advocate, I share honest, relatable stories about disability, mental health, accessibility, and everyday life. My goal is simple: make people laugh, think, and leave with a new perspective.

My Story Social Work

At just ten days old, I was baptized because my family was told I might not survive the night. During my time in hospital, my heart stopped and I was resuscitated. By one month old, doctors warned my parents that if I did survive, I would likely remain in a vegetative state. Later, they were told that children with my condition would be lucky to live to see their 16th birthday. Today, I have surpassed those expectations, earning a university degree, pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work, and using my experiences to advocate for disability rights, accessibility, and inclusion.

"Getting to watch Julie work was truly an unforgettable experience. Her skill in presenting a question is polite and consise. Yet what struck me was her ability to respond in a way that not only relates, but provokes valuable and engaging responses. I hope to work with her again as she is an incredible addition to any project." -Audrey Johnston, Producer

“Jules is one of those rare people who leaves a lasting impression. She is incredibly bright, genuinely funny, and so down-to-earth that she makes every conversation feel effortless. As the host of Just Roll With It, she creates a space where people feel heard, valued, and comfortable being themselves.

What makes Jules truly extraordinary is her resilience. She has faced immense challenges in her life, including undergoing deep brain stimulation surgery, yet she continues to show up with grace, humor, and compassion. Rather than letting adversity define her, she has used her experiences to inspire and uplift others.

Jules is the very definition of strength and resilience. She reminds us that courage isn’t about never facing hardship—it’s about continuing to move forward with hope, authenticity, and kindness. If you’re looking for a podcast that is heartfelt, inspiring, and full of meaningful conversations, Just Roll With It is absolutely worth listening to. Jules is a remarkable host, and I can’t recommend her enough.” - Sam Aguilar
